Female personal trainer working with women new to exercise or wanting to get back in shape
I am a fully qualified CYQ Level 3 personal trainer and psychotherapist, working with ladies who are new to exercise or those who have lost the zeal to get their trainers on and get out there. How do I work: Using the power of visualisation, I assist my clients to create the outcome they wish to have and through the physical of exercise, together, we make that a reality. Each session ends with stretching and relaxation. Exercise is wonderful for mental, all round wellbeing and a good excuse to shake that booty knowing it’s toned and looking good!! I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but it will be a lot of fun and all you need is a good pair of trainers, a bottle of water and towel. £45-£55.00 per hour, including visualisation and relaxation at end of each session. 1st session 1/2 price or £60 for 2 people.
We are a group of women who meet on a Monday night from 7-9pm to play badminton. We are a friendly group who welcome women of all ages, sexuality and abilities. We believe that fun is at the core of our group. We do encourage improvement and we arrange group coaching sessions when wanted and if you feel like giving it ago, we do have members of all abilities who play in competitions either in the UK or abroad e.g. Gay Games, Goslings Badminton Tournament, Out Games. Other side lines include camping, walking, golf, cinema, dancing etc. We can be a social lot.
Fitgirlz is an mobile personal training company that specialises in female training and women’s weight loss. At Fitgirlz, we take a different approach to training as we aim to empower women through training, education and personal experience. We don’t believe in fad diets. We believe in making lifestyle changes which last a lifetime and having fun at the same time. We believe that women put too much emphasis on cardio exercises while trying to lose weight/body fat but not enough on resistance training. One of the biggest fears that I hear from my clients is that they “don’t want to bulk up”. Our specific training method is not aimed to bulk up our clients but to increase the lean muscle to a certain level so that we can speed up the fat loss process. We aim to achieve this by metabolic resistance training. At Fitgirlz, we believe that women can train like men but structuring training around women’s monthly cycles, which we call metabolic cycle training, can increase the results in both weight loss and gaining lean muscle. Most women would like to achieve dramatic fat loss/weight loss but most of the time their training programs do not go hand in hand with their goals. You could be new to training and fitness, or have been training for a while but not achieving the desired results. Whatever the case, give us a call so we can discuss your goals. We train real people from a wide range different backgrounds and of different age groups. And we believe “There is no impossible”.

Chlamydia is the most common STI with 1-in-10 young people infected, & often no symptoms!
You won´t know if you (or one of your partners) have it, because
Chlamydia often has no symptoms – yet can lead to serious health
problems and is the leading cause of infertility.
The good news? – It´s free and easy to get tested.
If you´re between the ages of 16 and 24 testing may be free in your
area. It´s best to get tested for Chlamydia every 12 months (or every
time you change partner).

The Gay Outdoor Club operates throughout Great Britain and provides a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports and recreational activities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender men and women.
We organise over 500 events each year including walking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, caving, rock climbing, mountaineering, skiing, swimming and badminton. Most of our events are one day but we also organise weekend and longer events such as hostelling weekends, an arctic adventure and a white water rafting expedition.
GOC consists of over 30 local groups who organise regular walks, cycle rides, weekends away and social events so no-one is far from a GOC event.
For more specialist activities we have groups for caving, rock climbing, cycling, swimmingand skiing. Some of those events are for people with experience, but we also have events for novices.
We also have an Adventure Out group for dynamic and adventurous people from across the country.
Promotes sailing and assists individual sailors, clubs and teams.
The Gay and Lesbian Organisation for Racing and Yachting (GLORY) is a global organisation dedicated to promoting, co-ordinating, and supporting gay and lesbian sailing and racing around the world. GLORY represents teams and organisations world-wide with over 2000 members. We exist to assist individual sailors, clubs and teams in promoting the sport of sailing among lesbians and gays.
We do this through learn to sail programs, regatta co-ordination and coaching resources. The governing principals of GLORY are participation, inclusion and personal best.
We support a wide variety of sailing goals, from the highly competitive to the recreational. GLORY provides a sense of community for gay and lesbian sailors, no matter where they live or with whom they sail. Among our members are those with gay team-mates, straight team-mates and no team-mates (single-handed) and racing everything from ocean-going yachts to small dinghies and we also support Paralympic sailing as part of our Outreach program.
We maintain a global network of sailors and clubs, and can help to provide contacts for away regattas, training camps and friendly sailing when away from home. After the rejection of Montreal, GLORY successfully lobbied for the inclusion of sailing in the bids for the 2006 Gay Games from both Los Angeles and Chicago (the bid winner), and will continue to do so for future Gay Games.
Gay and Lesbian Underwater Group
The Gay & Lesbian Underwater Group (GLUG) is a non-profit Scuba Diving club for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered divers and their friends.
We have over 100 members (around 35% women, 65% men), throughout the UK, and our ages range from mid-20s to late 50s.
We organise at least 10 dive trips in the UK and overseas each year. Occassionally we organise combined trips with other Gay & Lesbian Scuba clubs in other parts of the world.
We don’t discriminate on the grounds of sexual orientation! Although the club is aimed at the gay community, we have one or two enlightened straight divers who find our club a refreshing change from the very macho, hetero-male environment found in many other scuba clubs.
GLUG is a non-profit SCUBA diving club for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered divers and their friends. We have over 60 members and organise a number of dive trips in the UK and overseas each year. We also plan regular socials, try dives and take an active part in London Pride each year.
Goslings London is a social sports club for gay men, lesbians and their friends.
