Pride London and disability accessFollowing our email of Monday 21 June raising our concerns about the disability access arrangements for Pride 2010, we have not received any response from the GLA, Westminster Council or the Pride sponsors. In the meantime we have been told by the usual Pride sign language interpreters that they have not been booked by the organisers, while a Regard member has contacted us to say that when he emailed the address given on the Pride website for access enquiries, it bounced back. We are therefore extremely concerned, both about the exclusion of disabled LGBT people from Pride - it is already too late for many disabled people to make the appropriate arrangements to attend now - and about the health and safety of those who do attend.
